It is possible to exclusively hire Downham Village Hall from just £1,500 for a whole weekend. The Main Hall which has a stage, wifi, a big screen and bang up to date sound and lighting equipment seats up to 100 people and there is also a smaller room which can be used as ‘creche’ or quiet seating area. The large kitchen has all the necessary equipment for caterers, the Hall can provide tables and chairs if needed and there is car parking for 50 cars on site.
The Village Hall is spacious, light and extremely cost-effective and can be ‘dressed up’ in a number of creative ways depending on taste and budget. In the past this has included, for example, ‘tenting’ the whole interior of the main hall to really look like a marquee, hanging specially made decorations from the ceiling and using decorative table linen, crockery and accessories.
